1. Who we are

This website is operated by Nirusense ("we", "us"). We are the controller of personal data collected through this site. Questions can be sent to hello@nirusense.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site and respond to you.

  • Contact form details: your name, email address and the message you send.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages requested, recorded in server logs.
  • Essential cookies that keep the site secure and the form working (see our Cookie Policy).

3. How we use your information

We use personal data to:

  • Reply to your enquiries and discuss potential projects.
  • Protect the site from spam and abuse, including limiting repeated form submissions from one network.
  • Maintain, secure and improve the website.
  • Meet legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in running and securing our business, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the site, under appropriate safeguards:

  • Resend, which delivers the emails generated by our contact form.
  • Our web hosting provider, which stores and serves the website.
  • Third-party content providers (Google Fonts, Unsplash image hosting and the Tailwind CSS library), which receive your IP address and browser details when your browser loads their files.

6. How long we keep data

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally no more than 24 months unless we begin working together or the law requires longer. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

7. International transfers

We serve clients worldwide, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where required, we protect these transfers with safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and similar laws in other countries, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data or ask us to delete it.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

9. Residents of California and other regions

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. Residents of any region with similar rights can use them by emailing hello@nirusense.com.

10. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls and other reasonable safeguards. No online service is completely secure, so please avoid sending passwords, payment details or highly sensitive information through the contact form.

11. Children

This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
